Leo S.F. Lin

Dr. Leo S.F. Lin is an affiliated lecturer at the School of Social and Political Sciences, University of Glasgow, UK. He is also a researcher with the Consortium of Indo-Pacific Researchers, Journal of Indo-Pacific Affairs, USA. Previously, he was a visiting lecturer at the Department of International and Strategic Studies, University of Malaya, Malaysia. His current research interests include non-traditional security, IR theories, grand strategy, human security, human trafficking, organized crime, illegal immigration, refugee, international policing, Asian studies, Indo-Pacific affairs, cross-strait relations, and political violence, with a regional focus on Asia. He has published numerous articles in scientific journals, conference proceedings, book chapters, policy papers, and a co-edited book on Asia-Pacific security. His work also appears on premium think tanks and media. Dr. Lin received his PhD from the School of Social Sciences and Global Studies, the University of Southern Mississippi, USA.
