Natalia Cuglesan

Natalia Cuglesan is a lecturer at the Department of International Studies and Contemporary History. Faculty of History and Philosophy, Babes-Bolyai University. She teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in the field of European Studies (European Union Policies, Multi-level governance in the EU, etc.). Her research interests are linked to European governance and EU Policies. Dr. Cuglesan currently leads the Jean Monnet Module Digital teaching and learning in the field of EU Integration Studies in the new member states (D-skills) and has recently published: Romania and the European Union, Oxford Encyclopedia of European Politics (2020).

Call For Papers (Extended Deadline)

Journal of Liberty and International Affairs now receives papers for its next 2024 issue (Vol. 10, No. 2, 2024). The journal aims to provide an active international forum for analysis, research, and debate in the fields of political sciences, international relations, and law. Papers that develop theoretical arguments or offer strong empirical evidence as either comparative or single-case studies are welcome. The journal is indexed in EBSCO, DOAJ, Crossref, CEEOL, SSOAR, ERIHPLUS, HeinOnline, CIAO, ProQuest, ANVUR (Class A), WorldCat, Dimensions, etc.

Alongside articles within the regular scope of the journal, this issue will include a thematic section on Digital Liberties in a Globalized World. It will examine the challenges and opportunities for digital liberties in the context of globalization, discussing issues such as internet censorship, surveillance, and the impact of technology on individual freedoms worldwide.

The deadline for paper submissions is 10 May 2024 (Extended deadline).

Authors are invited to submit articles to JLIA through the online submission system.
