Mudassir Fatah

Mudassir Fatah, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations, Noida International University, Greater Noida, India. He has a Doctorate in Political Science from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. He was awarded Doctoral Fellowship by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) for writing his Ph.D. thesis. He was awarded Turkiye Burslari Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship in Sakarya University, Sakarya, Turkey. He is Associate Editor of “NIU International Journal of Human Rights” (UGC CARE Listed Journal). His book chapter “Afghanistan Post 2014: A Threat or an Opportunity for India” has been published in an edited volume Emerging India in the New World Order, Bloomsbury, India 2015, ISBN 978-93-85436-68-0. He has authored two books, “US Intervention in Afghanistan since 2001: Security Implications for India”, (Istanbul, Gundogan Publishing, 2019), ISBN 978-975-520-354-6, and “Emerging Political Scenario in Afghanistan and the Role of International Actors”, (Istanbul, Gundogan Publishing, 2019), ISBN 978-975-520-353-9. Apart from many peer-reviewed and referred publications he is the co-author of “Russia’s And Iran’s Strategic Policies Towards the Afghanistan Crisis, Trames: A Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences. Vol. 24, Issue: 2, May 2020, ISSN 1736-7514 electronic, 1406-0922 print, (SCOPUS and Web of Science Indexed).
