Elena Tilovska-Kechedji

Elena Tilovska-Kechedji, PhD, is a political science and diplomacy associate professor. She earned her bachelor’s degree in history, international relations, and diplomacy, specializing in foreign affairs at The American College of Thessaloniki “ANATOLIA” in Greece. Her Master's degree is in International Relations and Diplomacy from Schiller International University –Paris, France. She earned her PhD in political science at the Institute for Sociological, political, and legal research, University “St. Cyril and Methodius” Skopje, North Macedonia. Her interests and specialization are in the following areas: International Relations and Diplomacy, Foreign policy, Foreign Policy of the EU, Integration in the European Union (with specialization in the Balkans), EU Law and politics, Refugees, Migration and Human rights, International Law, Political policies and theories, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security in the international relations domain. She is a Vice Dean for International Cooperation and Science and was a Senator at the University Senate. She was granted an ERASMUS+ fellowship grant for teaching mobility at the West University of Timisoara, Romania Faculty of Law in 2017, and was a CEEPUS Coordinator and at the moment she is a member of many International Scientific boards and journals. She is the Faculty Coordinator and an expert in an ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet project: ANETREC - “Academic network supporting EU policies towards Western Balkans with emphasis on regional cooperation based on reconciliation”, as well as the faculty coordinator of the project: “Renforcement et perspectives de la coopération scientifique dans les Balkans Occidentaux” financed by the solidarity fund for innovation, civil organizations, francophone and human resources by the Ministry of European and Foreign affairs, France. She is also a postdoctoral fellow at the “Mediterranea International Centre for Human Rights Research (MICHR)”, at the “Mediterranea” University, Department of Law, Economics, and Humanities, Università, Cittadella Universitaria, Reggio Calabria (Italy) and specializing in the field of Artificial intelligence and biotechnology in International law.
