Dijana Stojanovic - Djordjevic
Dijana Stojanovic Djordjevic, was born on 09.08.1983 in Skopje. After graduation on the Law faculty "Justinian I" in Skopje in 2005, she entered the postgraduate degree on the department of political science at the Institute for Sociological, Political and Juridical Research in Skopje. In 2008 she defended her master thesis on theme “Policy analysis of political participation of women in the legislature of the Republic of Macedonia: 1991-2007”. At the same Institute in 2014 she defended successfully her PhD thesis on theme "Gender mainstreaming in politics as one of the condition for gender equality in Republic of Macedonia”. From 2006 until 2012 Dijana Stojanovic Djordjevic was part of the Institute for Sociological, Political and Juridical Research working as administrative assistant and assistant of the following curricula: Sociology and Communications. Also, she has over eight years of experience working on projects with domestic and international donors as Consultant, Researcher, Trainer and Facilitator. Her expertise are the following issues: gender issues, gender mainstreaming, gender equality, woman in politics, democracy, human rights, etc. She has published 14 scientific papers in various scientific journals and participated in 9 domestic and international scientific conferences with her papers.
