Andi Luhur Prianto
Andi Luhur Prianto is an academician, editor, and scholar with teaching and research experience in political science and government. He is a Vice-Dean for Academic and Cooperation Affairs at the Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Indonesia. Previously he served as Assistant Professor and Head at the Department of Government Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Indonesia. He received his academic background BA in Political Science and Government, MS in Development Administration (Public Policy), and PhD in Political Science with a specific interest in the institutionalization of democracy, political parties, and elections. His research focuses on politics and government, urban governance, environmental politics, sustainable development and democratic institutions. He has received appreciation as an honorary member of the Political Science Association of Kasetsart University, Thailand. He is also the editor-in-chief of the Otoritas: Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan (Journal of Political Science and Government), which has been indexed by ESCI Web of Science (WoS).
