Natalya Lysenko, Liudmyla Shtefan and Olena Kholodniak
Lysenko Natalya was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Natalya went to Kharkiv State University where she studied foreign languages and obtained her degree in 1997. Currently, she works as a French language teacher at the Faculty of Foreign Languages at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Since 2016 she has been a post-graduate student at H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University where she is preparing her Ph.D. thesis in Educational Sciences.

Kholodniak Olena Vasylivna was born in Volchansk, Kharkiv region, Ukraine. After school she went to H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, where she studied the English and Russian Languages and Foreign Literature and obtained her Specialist's degree in 2003. She has been working as a teacher of English at H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University for 15 years. In 2017 she defended her thesis for a Candidate Degree in Philology. Now she specializes in text linguistics, epistolary discourse, lingvo-personology, methods of teaching foreign languages and methods of teaching and up-bringing foreign students.

Shtefan Liudmyla was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. She studied at Kharkiv Pedagogical University and graduated with honors from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. After working as a Physics teacher for three years, she returned to the Chair of General Pedagogy, where she successfully prepared and defended her Ph.D. thesis (1990) and the doctoral thesis (2003). She holds the academic title of professor (2004). Since 2015, she has been the head of the Chair of the History of Pedagogy and Comparative Pedagogy at H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. She combines her work as the head of the chair with the responsibilities of the academic secretary of the Doctoral Council. She prepared 16 doctors of Philosophy.

The fostering tolerance problem in the modern world is becoming increasingly current in the context of globalization processes and the migration crisis. Following the need to cultivate tolerance in the younger generation, French modern education system aims to install the 'values of the Republic' as an element of public school programs. At the same time it turned out that most teachers are not sufficiently trained to carry out educational activities in the sphere of fostering tolerance. The education system reform carried out in 2013 made this training compulsory introducing the so-called 'Common Core Program' (Tronc Commun) to future teachers of all specialties. Within the program teachers deepen their knowledge in history, philosophy, law, sociology, pedagogy.
