Ferdinand Abocejo currently works as a core faculty of the Graduate School, Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), Tacloban City, Leyte, Philippines with academic rank of Associate Professor. He teaches basic and advanced statistics, research, public policy analysis, among others, at the masters level. He completed Bachelor of Science in Statistics (Philippines) and Masters in Public Policy (Australia). He serves as an external peer reviewer to various research journals within and outside Philippine. His researches are in the areas of social theory, public policy, education, public health, applied economics and statistics. His current research investigates the contributions of overseas Filipino workers' remittances on the financial stability and economic development of the Philippines.
